When it comes to real estate excellence, Linda Wolcott has established a legacy like none other. With over forty years of experience in residential real estate, Linda has firmly established herself as one of the Salt Lake Valley’s best real estate brokers.
Linda is a native of Utah, and an alumnus of the University of Utah. While attending college Linda began working for a financial investments company that specialized in purchasing and managing commercial income properties for their clients. The experience piqued her interest in real estate and inspired her to go into the field. After moving from her first job to the firm Gump & Ayers Real Estate in 1979, Linda changed her focus to residential real estate and her career took off. Linda and her brother opened their own brokerage, Lewis, Wolcott & Dornbush in 1991, which would ultimately go on to merge with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in 2008, combining two real estate powerhouses able serve the entire state of Utah.
Residential real estate in the Salt Lake metropolitan area and surrounding ski resorts is Linda’s primary focus and passion. However, throughout her career, Linda also successfully marketed large bank-owned condo projects such as 212 American Towers and Springfield. Additionally, land development opportunities such as North Cove, Capitol Hill and Dorchester Pointe were additional successful projects. Linda was also a part of the listing team for the prestigious La Caille Restaurant and surrounding property sale in Salt Lake City. After decades in the business, Linda’s experience, knowledge and expertise ensures that she provides a luxury experience for her clients – both buyers and sellers – at any price-point.
Linda has been awarded honors in the Realtor® Hall of Fame since 1986 and has been recognized as a top-producing agent in her field numerous times. She served as President of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors® in 1986, acted as Chairperson of the Utah Association of Realtors® RPAC Committee, been Salesperson of the Year for the Salt Lake City Board of Realtors, received the Service Award from the Homebuilder’s Association, and held office with the Women’s Council of Real Estate. She also wrote a monthly article for the Salt Lake Realtor® Magazine for many years and served as Principal Broker of Lewis, Wolcott & Dornbush Realty for 15 years before merging with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty where she remains a dedicated and respected leading agent to this day.
Though she claims to be looking towards her retirement, Linda still loves her chosen career in real estate and the feeling of helping her clients find their dream homes. She works with incredible people and enjoys the constantly changing environment and challenges the real estate life provides in today’s competitive and fast-paced market. When she’s not selling real estate, Linda and her husband Jim love playing golf with friends and are looking forward to traveling the world together again.
